Video is where people check whether you're real
A potential customer scrolling Instagram or TikTok gives you a few seconds before deciding. A real clip of your stylist at work, your venue set for an evening or your team on a finished kitchen does more than a paragraph of copy, because it shows the business moving, in its own place, with its own people.
Most owners know they should post video and don't, because filming between appointments is hard and editing is harder. One short session gets you started: edited clips in both shapes, framed for the phone, opening on the strongest moment. You just have to be there. Post them yourself, learn how in The Owner's Session, or have them posted for you on Covered, running Seen, $395/mo.

What happens after you buy.
Have these handy
- The work, space or event you want on camera, ready on the day
- Permission from anyone who'll be in frame, staff or customers
- A rough idea of what you'd say, if you'll be on camera
- Access before customers arrive, if your space gets busy
- The brief call
Pay the deposit by link, then a short call to plan each clip: what it should show and who it's for, like a new client deciding, a couple touring venues, or a tenant comparing properties.
- Shot list
We plan the clips shot by shot: the opening frame, the action, the close. If you're on camera, we agree on what you'll say.
- The session
We film at your place, working around the day's customers. Most of it is real work captured as it happens, plus a few set-up moments.
- The edit
We cut each clip tight, match the color, and open on the strongest moment instead of a slow lead-in.
- Delivery in 10 business days
Vertical and widescreen files arrive within 10 business days of the shoot, in a shared folder named by where each one runs. If a clip on the agreed list is missing or unusable, we reshoot it.
Questions owners ask.
What kind of video works for a small business on Instagram and TikTok?
Short, vertical and real: your work happening, your space at its best moment, a quick word from you. Polished commercials tend to read as ads and get scrolled past. Tight clips of real work look like your business, and the same file works on Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Can you film video and take photos in the same visit?
That's a Media Day: one directed day of photo and video at your place, planned against a brief so everything matches. The on-site video sessions here are video only, so each hour goes to the clips.
Do I have to be on camera for business videos?
No. Plenty of strong clips are just the work: hands, tools, a room coming together, a table being set. If you're open to a short line to camera, we plan it in the shot list so you're not improvising on the day.
Do you make commercials or long brand films?
No. We don’t compete with high-end production studios on commercials. This page is short clips and set-up scenes shot at your place, up to a 60 to 90 second piece. For you on camera in the studio, see studio video. For a planned day of photo and video, see Media Day.
