These terms apply when you use stellersmedia.com or buy a service from Stellers Media Agency LLC (“Stellers Media”, “we”). Each service page, and any written quote or scope we send you, adds the details for that service: what’s in it, what isn’t, the timeline, how it’s paid and any guarantee. Where a written scope and these terms differ, the written scope wins for that work.
What you’re buying
Each service includes what its page or your written scope lists, and nothing outside it. Work outside the scope is quoted first and only starts once you agree. We never absorb it quietly and we never bill for it without asking.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars and are the ones shown on the service page or in your quote when you buy.
- One-time services are paid as their page says: in full, or 50% to start and 50% when the work is done (website builds: as stated on the build’s page or your scope).
- Monthly plans are billed before each month.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Invoices are due on receipt unless your scope says otherwise; work pauses while an invoice is more than 14 days late.
- If a monthly plan’s price changes, you hear about it at least 30 days before it applies, and you can leave before it does.
Platform costs
Ad spend, paid apps, plugins, domains and other platform fees are paid by you, in your business’s name, unless a plan says it includes them (Stellers Hosting includes your domain renewal). We tell you before recommending anything with a cost.
Leaving, and refunds
Monthly plans: leave any time. The plan runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for; we don’t charge for later months, and we don’t refund a month already started.
Booked shoot dates: photo and video days can be moved free with 72 hours’ notice, and weather moves are always free. With less notice, the deposit covers the crew we booked and the new date is set from there.
One-time work: if you cancel before we start, we refund what you paid. Once work has started, what you’ve paid covers the work done; if we’ve done less than you’ve paid for, we refund the difference. A guarantee stated on a service page applies exactly as it’s written there.
Credits
Where a service page says a payment comes off a later service (for example, The Visibility Baseline’s $350 toward a website build), the credit applies only to the service named, only within the window stated, never as cash, and never for more than you paid.
What we need from you
Most work depends on access and answers from you: logins or manager access, approvals, photos, and facts about the business. Timelines and guarantees assume they come back within the time stated for the service. When they don’t, dates move by the same amount.
Who does the work
Stellers Media directs every project and is responsible for it. Some work is done by specialists we bring in for what the job needs. They work to our brief and our standards, and you deal with us, not them.
Confidentiality
What you share about your business stays between us and the people doing your work. We don’t publish your numbers, customers or plans. Likewise, please keep our quotes, scopes and working documents to yourself.
Your accounts and your work
- Every account, domain and profile we set up for you is registered to your business. We work as a manager, never the owner, and we’re removed when the work ends.
- Once it’s paid for, the work we make for you is yours to use for your business: site content, designs, photos and video, as delivered. Third-party parts (themes, plugins, fonts, stock images) stay under their own licenses.
- We may show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
- What you give us (logos, photos, copy) stays yours. You confirm you have the right to let us use it.
- For photo and video, you get the OK of your staff and customers who appear on camera before the day.
Your products in our care
For product photography, we ship both ways with tracking and insure each shipment for the value you declare in your quote. Check your items when they arrive back and tell us within 2 business days if anything is damaged; we handle the carrier claim. We tell you within 1 business day if something arrives damaged at our end. We keep your products only as long as the job needs and ship them back when it’s done.
What we can’t promise
Google, Meta, Apple, Yelp, marketplaces and AI tools decide rankings, recoveries, reviews and what they show. We don’t promise rankings, traffic, mentions or approvals from any platform. Where a service carries a guarantee, it’s the one written on its page, with the conditions written there.
Liability
We do the work with care and fix our own mistakes. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim about a service is limited to what you paid us for that service in the 12 months before the claim. We aren’t liable for lost profits or indirect losses, or for outages and changes made by the platforms and hosts your business relies on.
Ending the work
You can end any monthly plan at any time (see Leaving, above). We can end a plan with 30 days’ notice, or straight away if an invoice is more than 30 days late or the working relationship becomes abusive. Either way, everything in your name stays yours: we hand over files and logins we set up, and remove our access.
Things outside anyone’s control
Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control: outages at a platform or host, storms, illness, and the like. We tell you as soon as something affects your dates.
Using this site
The free tools and articles are for information; they’re estimates from the numbers you enter, not professional advice or a promise of results. Don’t misuse the site’s forms or try to break the site.
Disputes
Tell us first at contact@stellersmedia.com; most things get fixed in a conversation. These terms are governed by Washington law, and any dispute goes to the courts of Thurston County, Washington.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. Work already under way keeps the terms it started with.
The whole agreement
These terms, the service page and any written scope or quote are the whole agreement for a piece of work. If any part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
