Studio video

You on camera, guided start to finish: we plan what you’ll say with you, coach you through it in the studio, and edit it into pieces for your site, YouTube and social.

  1. I know I should be on camera, I just don't know what to say
  2. Our about page is a wall of text

People hire the person before they hire the business

An interior designer, a broker, a venue owner, a contractor: the customer is about to trust you with something that matters. A short clip of you explaining how you work answers the question they can't ask on a first call, which is whether they'd like working with you. Text can't do that. Your face and voice can.

Filming that in your office usually fights you: echo, a window behind your head, a phone ringing. A studio removes most of it, so the session goes to what you're saying. For South Sound owners who've put off video because it never looks or sounds right, this is the controlled version.

What we do

  • A planning call: what the video is for, who it is for, and the points you want to make
  • Talking points shaped with you, in your words, never a script read off a page
  • Studio time with light and sound set up, and coaching through every take
  • A widescreen piece for your site and YouTube, and vertical clips cut from it
  • Ideas we plan often: an about-us video, a service explainer, answers to the questions customers always ask, a launch announcement
  • Yours to use for your business, web and social

  1. The plan

We talk through what the video is for, who will watch it and what you want them to do next, and turn that into talking points in your words.

  2. The quote in 2 business days

Within 2 business days of the planning call, one price for the studio time, the setup and the finished pieces, before anything is booked. It's paid 50/50.

  3. The session

One point at a time, a few takes each, with us coaching between takes, so you sound like yourself, not a script.

  4. The edit

We keep the takes where you sound most like you, clean up the sound, and cut the widescreen piece and the vertical clips.

  5. Delivery in 10 business days

Every piece in the shapes you need, named by where it runs, within 10 business days of the session.

Questions owners ask.

How do I make a video about my business that doesn't feel awkward?

Skip the script. Bring the points you would make to a new customer, and we coach you through them one at a time. You say each a few times, and the edit keeps the take where you sound like yourself.

How much does studio video cost?

It's quoted from the plan: the studio time, the setup, and how many finished pieces you want. You get one price before anything is booked.

Do you make commercials?

No. We don't compete with high-end production studios on commercials or full brand films. This is you on camera, explaining your business clearly. For filming at your own place, there is on-site video or a Media Day.
